Has Christmas hit you particularly hard this year? I can understand where you are coming from, having overspent judiciously myself this year. I have five kids myself and each demands a bigger present than their siblings. I had a lot of gold going spare in a draw from previous Christmas presents from my ex-husband. Rather than have these awful memories sat in my bedside cabinet, I decided to get cash for gold for the sake of the kids. I couldn’t help but see the look on my ex-husbands face when I sold all of the presents he bought me. Although this wasn’t nearly as harrowing for him as when he came back and saw all his power tools had been sold on to fund my Caribbean cruise….woops.
